Confirmation groups

As part of its commitment to Catholic education, Ten Ten Theatre has developed a series of day retreats for parishes and confirmation groups.

With support from The St John Southworth Fund, we have rolled out a one-day programme for confirmation candidates in the Dioceses of Westminster and Southwark. Such days take the Sex and Relationship work that we do in schools to a deeper level.

The confirmation day is structured around the exploration of two key quotations from Pope John Paul II:

"The opposite of love is not to hate but to use."

"Love is more than a feeling. Love is a decision."

Using drama, discussion, large and small group work, liturgy and reflection, our team take to another level the exploration of many of the themes already presented in schools: on chastity, sex, relationships, parenthood love and responsibility.

At Ten Ten, we are currently unable to meet the huge interest from parishes in this retreat day. Given this, we are currently exploring other means by which we can deliver this work on a much larger scale.
