PUPIL REFERRAL UNITS and YOUNG OFFENDER INSTITUTIONS
We have developed an adapted version of The Safer Streets Drama Project for use in Pupil Referral Unit and Young Offender Institutions.

This project - over five-consecutive days - has been in development in conjunction with Feltham YOI since October 2008.

Ten Ten Theatre is currently taking enquiries and opening dialogue with PRU's and YOI's throughout the UK ahead of a national tour in Spring 2011.

“The week doing drama has made me look at stuff that goes on.  The play was very similar to how people are like in here.  It’s made me look at things from a different angle.  Curtis feels upset, he shouldn’t have done it – it’s the same in my situation as well.  The reason why I’m here is stupid.  I should have used my brain.  But all I was thinking about was what other people thought, about what was going to make me the big man.  But I’m in here and my friends are still out there, and they don’t care that I’m in here...
